Arran Quaker Meeting
Meeting for Worship: Two Sundays a month in Friends' homes.
For venues please phone 01770-302 779 (Jenny Faulkner)
Arran is the largest island in the Firth of Clyde. The ferry (an hour's crossing) sails from Ardrossan on the Ayshire coast into Brodick Bay, below the mountain called Goatfell.
There are very few Quakers scattered around Arran at present, and in 2004 Arran meeting became a worshiping group rather than a nominated meeting. Officially we are a part of Ayrshire meeting. We meet twice a month in each others homes but times are dependent on buses (and the ferry).
Visitors are very welcome.
