Lanark is a small market town about 30 miles south-east of Glasgow and 30 miles south-west of Edinburgh. Biggar is about 12 miles south-east of Lanark. Lanark is about one hour's drive from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling. Biggar is about 20 minutes drive from Lanark. Lanark has rail and bus links with Glasgow. Biggar has a bus link with Edinburgh and Lanark.
