Quaker Quest
Quaker Quest is a programme that helps you to find out about the Quaker way of life. In May 2011, Glasgow Quakers successfully ran four linked sessions of the programme. We had intended to offer five sessions but our final session was postponed.
Each session began at 6.30pm with soup and rolls. The programmed part of the evening began at 7pm and ended around 9.00pm which will left us time for informal chat until 9.30pm.
The programme was free and enquirers about Quakerism were welcome to come to any one session or to all five. The sessions were as follows:
Tuesday 3 May 11 Spiritual Journeys: Living with Doubt
Tuesday 10 May 11 Quakers on Equality and Diversity
Tuesday 17 May 11 Quakers and our Christian Roots
Tuesday 24 May 11 Quakers and Social Action
Tuesday 31 May 11 Quakers and Our Planet *
*Unfortunately this final session was postponed, a new date will be confirmed in due course.
