Arran Quaker Meeting
Due to Covid-19, Meetings for Worship in Scotland may not be meeting in person. Meetings may be making alternative arrangements online. Please contact the meeting for information. See the advice given to Quaker Meetings for more details.
Meeting for Worship
Arran Friends hold Meeting for Worship every Sunday at 11am at the Heather Cottage Holistic Centre, Brodick. It is situated on the opposite side of the main road when you leave the Ferry Terminal, just to the left of the Douglas Hotel.
Arran is the largest island in the Firth of Clyde. The ferry (an hour's crossing) sails from Ardrossan on the Ayshire coast into Brodick Bay, below the mountain called Goatfell.
There are a number of Quakers scattered around Arran at present. In 2004 Arran meeting became a worshiping group rather than a nominated meeting.
