A short presentation on WW1 conscientious objection, focusing on Quakers. Three Quakers (two of whom were WW2 COs) will speak about their experience and conviction. See Central Edinburgh Library's description and booking link.

At the invitation of library staff, we shall be making a presentation on Quakers and conscientious objection in Edinburgh Central Library, George IV Bridge.  There will be a short presentation on WW1 conscientious objection, focusing on Quakers, as part of a WW1 centenary series of library events.  Three Quakers (two of whom were WW2 COs) will speak about their experience and convictions and we hope to make time for questions and answers/ discussion.  All are welcome.  Come to the main Library entrance and ask for directions.
