Would you like to find out about Quaker values, beliefs and worship?
As part of Quaker Week, Ayrshire Quaker Meeting is hosting an open day on Wednesday 4th October at the Riverside Recreation Centre, Riverside Place, Ayr KA8 0ED 10.30am to 8pm.
At 2pm Ellis Brookes from Quaker Peace and Social Witness is speaking on Peace Education and developing skills to be a peacemaker. At 6.30pm we will discuss this topic and videos on linking our faith to action.
10.30am -12noon Drop in for coffee and a chat. Friends will be available to answer questions and provide information
12.15 - 12.45pm Short meeting for worship which is open to anyone who wishes to attend
1.00 - 2.00pm Shared lunch. An opportunity to chat with Friends over lunch
2.00 - 3.30pm Talk by Ellis Brookes from Quaker Peace and Social Witness on Peace Education
4.00 - 5.30pm Drop in for afternoon tea and cakes with Quakers
5.45 - 6.15pm Short meeting for worship which is open to anyone who wishes to attend
6.30 - 8.00pm Discussion and videos on peace education and linking our faith to action
