As part of Quaker Week, Ayrshire Quaker Meeting is hosting an open day on Wednesday 4th October at the Riverside Recreation Centre, Riverside Place, Ayr KA8 0ED 10.30am to 8pm.
At 2pm Ellis Brookes from Quaker Peace and Social Witness is speaking on Peace Education and developing skills to be a peacemaker. At 6.30pm we will discuss this topic and videos on linking our faith to action.

An opportunity to explore the roots of Quaker spirituality with Paulette Meier (Cincinnati Meeting), while learning and singing song-chants based on the words of 17th century Quaker leaders, both men and women. Sung a cappella in piercingly clear plainsong, the messages are spiritually rich, socially relevant, and deeply inspiring!
Mike Hall, a past President of the Edinburgh Theosophical Society, will lead this session on 'The Music of Life: the Spirituality of Music', illustrated with music and video clips.
